Elevate pork ribs with a tropical twist using a Hawaiian-inspired recipe with crushed pineapple sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup vinegar
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 0.5 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 pounds pork spareribs, cut into serving size pieces
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) for perfect baking results.
  • Combine vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, and pineapple in a saucepan over medium heat. Add brown sugar, cornstarch, salt, and ginger. Cook and stir until slightly thickened, approximately 5 minutes.
  • Start by layering the spareribs in a roasting pan. Drizzle half of the sauce over the ribs. Create another layer of spareribs and pour the rest of the sauce on top. Seal the pan with foil to cover tightly.
  • Roast in the oven until soft and tender, approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
