Quick and easy buttery toffee with decadent chocolate and hazelnuts - irresistibly delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter (no substitutes)
  • 1.5 cups chopped hazelnuts
  • 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
Instructions:
  • Butter the aluminum foil-lined 9-inch square pan, making sure it extends slightly past the edges.
  • In a glass bowl, microwave chocolate chips, stirring every 20-30 seconds until smooth. Spread melted chocolate in the pan and chill in the refrigerator while preparing the candy.
  • Combine sugar, butter, hazelnuts, and corn syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir as the butter melts and bring to a boil. Cook until the mixture reaches 250-265°F (121-129°C) or forms a rigid ball when a small amount is dropped into cold water.
  • Pour the decadent cooled chocolate over the mixture, ensuring it covers every corner. Let it set in the fridge until perfectly chilled. Once chilled to perfection, gently break it into irresistible bite-sized morsels and store in a sealed container to keep them fresh.
