Try this crispy air-fried bang bang chicken with a side of sauce for the ultimate American twist!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce
  • 0.5 cup flour
  • 0.5 cup tapioca starch
  • 1.5 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • cooking spray
  • 0.25 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat air fryer to a perfect 380°F (190°C).
  • In a shallow bowl, blend egg, milk, and hot sauce. In another bowl, mix flour, tapioca starch, salt, garlic, and cumin. Dip chicken in the egg mixture, coat with the dry mix, then air fry in batches without overcrowding. Lightly spray chicken with oil before cooking.
  • Cook the chicken in the air fryer, shaking the basket after 5 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the juices run clear, approximately 10 minutes for each batch.
  • Combine tangy Greek yogurt with sweet chili sauce and a kick of hot sauce in a small bowl. Drizzle the flavorful sauce over the chicken before serving.
