Tangy soy-lemon marinade adds a flavorful twist to succulent salmon, made lighter with fresh lemons and less oil.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds salmon fillets
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 1 pinch salt to taste
Instructions:
  • Combine lemon juice, lemon zest, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and olive oil in a 9x13-inch glass baking dish until the sugar dissolves, approximately 2 minutes. Add the fish flesh side down, then refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Heat up the grill outdoors until it reaches medium-high heat and brush the grate lightly with oil.
  • Grill the salmon after discarding the marinade.
  • Cook the salmon until it easily flakes with a fork, around 6 to 8 minutes.
