Succulent slow cooker chicken and dumplings brimming with veggies in a deliciously effortless homemade broth.
Ingredients:
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 2 cups natural cream of chicken soup
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 10 ounces refrigerated reduced-fat biscuit dough, torn into pieces
  • 1 cup frozen peas
Instructions:
  • Add chicken, butter, cream of chicken soup, and onion to a slow cooker. Cook on High for 5 to 6 hours. Toss in carrots after 5 hours.
  • 30 minutes before serving, generously place torn biscuit dough on top of the chicken mixture. Cover and cook for about 25 minutes until the dough is thoroughly cooked. Gently lift the edges of the biscuits and stir in peas. Allow to rest until warm before serving.
