Ingredients:
  • 18.20 gm olive oil
  • 1 brown onion, finely chopped
  • 500g 3 Star Pork & Beef Mince
  • 100g button or cup mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 44.40 gm Double Concentrated Tomato Paste
  • 400g can diced tomatoes
  • 125ml beef stock
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 62.50 ml chopped fresh basil
  • 375g pkt Large Instant Lasagna Sheets
  • 490g jar Lasagne Bechamel Sauce
  • 90g pizza cheese
  • Basil leaves, extra, to serve
Instructions:
  • - Preheat oven to 180C. - Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. - Sauté onion until softened. - Brown the mince by breaking up any lumps with a wooden spoon. - Add mushroom and garlic, cook for 3 mins. - Mix in tomato paste, diced tomato, stock, and oregano. Bring to a boil. - Simmer covered on low for 15 mins until slightly thickened. - Stir in chopped basil.
  • Layer the meat mixture, lasagne sheets, and bechamel sauce in the ovenproof dish three times, starting with the meat mixture and ending with the bechamel sauce.
  • Sprinkle pizza cheese on top. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and cooked through. Let it stand for 5 minutes to cool slightly, then sprinkle with fresh basil leaves before serving.
