Make easy and delicious cookies using Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix. No special cookie cutter needed - just follow our simple shaping instructions.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • Flour, butter and egg called for on cookie mix pouch for cutout cookies
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • Black decorator gel frosting
  • 36 round yellow candy sprinkles
  • 2 black licorice wheels
  • 2 boxes Hello Kitty® fruit-flavored snacks
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Follow the instructions on the pouch to make the cookie dough. Roll the dough out to 1/4-inch thickness. Use a 2-inch round cutter to cut out 36 cookies, rerolling the dough as needed. Place the rounds 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Use the remaining dough to shape small triangles for the cat ears. Press 2 triangles onto each cookie to create a cat face.
  • Bake the cookies until they are perfectly golden brown around the edges, which should take about 6 to 8 minutes. Then, transfer them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
  • Frost the cooled cookies and add two eyes with black decorator gel. Then, place a round yellow candy sprinkle in the center of each cookie to create a nose.
  • Unwrap licorice wheels and cut six small pieces for each cat cookie. Gently place the licorice on the cookies to create whiskers.
  • Top each cookie with a fruity snack bow. Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap until ready to enjoy.
