Try the sophisticated Hemingway Daiquiri, a balance of sweet and tart flavors with white rum, lime, grapefruit juice, and maraschino liqueur, inspired by the legendary writer Ernest Hemingway.
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces white rum
- 3/4 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice
- 1/2 ounce fresh squeezed grapefruit juice (go for a sweeter variety, like Ruby Red)
- 1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur
- Ice
- Lime or grapefruit peel, optional
Instructions:
- In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients with ice.
- Shake vigorously for 30 seconds until the shaker is frosty, then strain into a cocktail glass.
- Add a decorative touch by placing a lime wheel or a touch of grapefruit peel on top of the dish, if desired.
