Delicious and easy meatball appetizer recipe handed down from a dear neighbor. Simple, pantry-friendly sauce. Quick to make with homemade or store-bought meatballs.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (38 ounce) package frozen cooked meatballs, thawed
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 0.75 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (160 degrees C) and transfer the meatballs into a casserole dish.
  • Bake until heated through in a preheated oven for approximately 10 minutes.
  • In a saucepan, mix ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, cloves, garlic salt, and beef bouillon cube. Bring to a boil while stirring frequently. Simmer on low for 5 minutes. Pour over meatballs and cover with foil.
  • Bake in the oven until the meatballs are heated through, for approximately 20 minutes.
