Homemade ice cube tray Nestlé Fantales - quick and delicious!
Ingredients:
  • 395g can sweetened condensed milk
  • 100g (1/2 cup, firmly packed) brown sugar
  • 100g (1/2 cup) caster sugar
  • 125g salted butter
  • 86.88 gm glucose syrup
  • 400g milk chocolate, chopped
  • 9.20 gm canola oil
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine condensed milk, brown sugar, caster sugar, butter, and glucose syrup. Stir constantly and bring to a boil. Lower the heat to medium and continue stirring vigorously for 5-7 minutes until the mixture turns into a deep caramel and starts to pull away from the sides of the pan.
  • Evenly distribute the caramel into two 12-hole, 30ml-capacity ice cube trays. Chill in the fridge until cool. Gently twist the trays to release the caramels, then place them on a wire rack, base-side down, over a baking tray.
  • Combine the chocolate and oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until melted, stirring halfway through for a smooth mixture.
  • Drizzle the chocolate mixture over the caramels until they are thoroughly coated. If needed, reapply the chocolate from the first tray by stacking it over a second one and pouring it over the caramels for full coverage.
  • Refrigerate until firm. Enjoy.
