Delicious blueberry lattice pie recipe, perfect with fresh or frozen berries.
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 (14.1 ounce) package double-crust pie pastry, thawed
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) with the oven rack at the lowest position after gathering all the ingredients.
  • Combine the sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl, then generously sprinkle over the blueberries.
  • Cover the bottom of a pie dish with a single pie crust. Fill it with the berry mixture and sprinkle with butter. Cut the remaining pastry into strips measuring 1/2 to 3/4-inch wide. Create a lattice top with the strips and delicately crimp and flute the edges.
  • Bake the pie on the bottom oven rack until the filling bubbles and the crust turns golden brown, approximately 50 minutes.
  • Slice the dish and savor each bite!
