Easy stuffing recipe with bread, butter, onion, celery, sage, and thyme for a delicious Thanksgiving side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1.5 cups chopped celery with leaves
  • 9 cups soft bread cubes
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning, or to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Assemble all the ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter until sizzling; sauté celery and onion until onion is soft, about 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Place the bread cubes in a spacious bowl and generously season with salt, sage, thyme, poultry seasoning, and black pepper.
  • Combine the sautéed celery and onions with the bread cubes; mix well.
  • Transfer the bread mixture into a spacious casserole dish and securely seal it with aluminum foil.
  • Bake until beautifully golden in the preheated oven for about 1 hour.
