Elevate any dish with our irresistible basil pesto: made with fresh basil, pine nuts or walnuts, and authentic Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. Perfect for pasta, pizza, or spaghetti.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups packed fresh basil leaves
  • 0.25 cup Italian parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and lightly crushed
  • 1 cup pine nuts
  • 1.5 cups shredded Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 cup extra-virgin olive oil, or more as needed
Instructions:
  • In a food processor, combine basil, Italian parsley, and garlic. Pulse to chop everything finely, about 30 seconds. Add pine nuts and pulse for another 30 seconds until finely chopped. Finally, pulse Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese until finely ground.
  • While the machine is running, blend in lemon juice. Gradually pour olive oil into pesto until well combined. Stop the machine and season the pesto with salt and black pepper to taste.
