Homemade Pink Lemonade

Summer pink lemonade made with fresh lemon juice and real cranberry juice for a natural pink hue.
Ingredients:
  • 1 to 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water, divided
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Prepare the simple syrup: Combine 1 1/4 cups of sugar (if using unsweetened cranberry juice) and 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. Heat the mixture until the sugar is fully dissolved. Take the saucepan off the heat and allow the simple syrup to cool.
  • In a pitcher, mix together the remaining water, cranberry juice, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Adjust for taste preferences by stirring in more lemon juice if needed to balance sweetness.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for about an hour or add ice to cool the lemonade before serving.
