Simmer ripe tomatoes with sugar, garlic, and vinegar for a delicious homemade pizza sauce. Blend until smooth and enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 10 roma tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
Instructions:
  • Combine water, tomatoes, and olive oil in a blender or food processor and blend until velvety smooth. Pour the luscious tomato mixture into a large pot.
  • Combine sugar, garlic salt, and vinegar with the tomato mixture. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 1 to 2 hours until thickened, stirring occasionally.
  • Transfer the tomato mixture into a clean blender or food processor, ensuring it is no more than half full. Cover and securely hold down the lid, then pulse a few times before blending until silky smooth. Repeat this process with any remaining tomato mixture.
