Vegan baking essential: Nutty oat milk blend for delicious results.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup rolled oats
  • 0.33333334326744 cup raw, skin-on almonds
  • 0.33333334326744 cup cashews
  • 4 cups filtered water, divided
  • 1 tablespoon whole flax seeds
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix oats, almonds, and cashews, then pour in 2 cups of filtered water. Refrigerate and let soak for a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Take out of the refrigerator and incorporate flax seeds. Allow the mixture to sit until the flax seeds absorb the moisture and the mixture reaches room temperature, approximately 1 hour.
  • Blend mixture in blender until creamy, then let it rest for 5 minutes. Add 2 cups filtered water and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve. Enjoy immediately or refrigerate for up to 1 week, shaking well before using.
