Sausage-wrapped boiled eggs, perfect for parties or a light dinner with salad.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound pork sausage meat
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 hard-cooked eggs, peeled
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 0.66666668653488 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 1 quart oil for deep frying
Instructions:
  • Combine pork sausage with Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl. Then mix in flour, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • 1. Divide the sausage into four equal parts. Wrap each part around a hard-cooked egg, shaping by rolling between your hands. 2. Place beaten egg and bread crumbs in separate dishes. 3. Dip the sausage-wrapped eggs into the egg, then coat with bread crumbs. Remove any excess coating before cooking.
  • Heat the oil in a large saucepan or deep fryer until it reaches 365 degrees F (180 degrees C) or until a cube of bread turns brown in 1 minute. Carefully lower the eggs into the hot oil and fry for 5 minutes until deep golden brown.
