Delicious butter tart recipe with honey, brown sugar, and a hint of lemon for added flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 20 (3 inch) unbaked tart shells
  • 0.33333334326744 cup butter, softened
  • 1.25 cups brown sugar
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon cold water
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup raisins
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then elegantly arrange the pastry shells on a baking sheet.
  • Using an electric mixer, whip the butter in a bowl until it is smooth and creamy. Mix in the brown sugar and honey. Add the egg, lemon juice, water, vanilla, and salt to the butter mixture until just combined, then gently fold in the raisins. Fill the tart shells halfway with the butter mixture.
  • Bake in the oven until the filling is bubbly and the pastry is golden, approximately 30 minutes.
