Decades-old honey-based recipe passed down from my beekeeping grandma, sure to impress with its sweet and delicious flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.33333334326744 cup butter, melted
  • 18 (2 inch) unbaked tart shells
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) for perfectly baked results.
  • In a large bowl, whisk eggs until fluffy. Add brown sugar, honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Stir in melted butter, then fill tart shells halfway.
  • Place in a warm oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the pastry turns a beautiful golden brown color and the filling is firm.
