Elevate your holiday spread with these roasted Honey Chipotle Brussels Sprouts, tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce for a modern twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 chipotle peppers, from a can of chipotles in adobo
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce, from chipotle can
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400°F.
  • 1. Trim and halve Brussels sprouts, then coat with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast for 15 minutes.
  • To make the honey-chipotle sauce, split chipotle peppers in half with a small knife, remove seeds, mince the peppers, and combine in a bowl with honey and one tablespoon of adobo sauce.
  • Take the sprouts out of the oven and mix them for uniform cooking. Spread them back onto the baking sheet in a single layer. Coat them with the honey chipotle mixture, saving some for the end. Bake for 10 more minutes.
  • Drizzle the remaining sauce over the sprouts and serve while warm.
