Homemade honey mustard, perfect for gifting or savoring, aged for optimal flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 75g black or yellow mustard seeds
  • 80mls (1/3 cup) tarragon vinegar
  • 57.20 gm honey
  • 6.00 gm salt
  • 2 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 garlic clove, coarsely chopped
  • Pinch ground cloves
  • 45.50 gm olive oil
Instructions:
  • In a small bowl, let the mustard seeds and vinegar mingle together overnight while covered.
  • Pour the mustard seed mixture into a food processor. Add honey, salt, ginger, garlic, and ground cloves. Process until well combined. With the processor running, slowly pour in the olive oil until fully mixed. Spoon the mustard into a jar, seal, label, and date. Refrigerate for at least 1 month before enjoying. Store in the fridge for up to 2 months after opening.
