Indulgent dessert made with just 4 simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 4 Josephine pears, halved leaving stems intact
  • 200g low-fat fresh ricotta
  • 8 amaretti biscuits, roughly crushed
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with non-stick baking paper. Hollow out the centre of each pear half using a teaspoon to create a round hollow, then place the pear halves on the lined tray.
  • Fill the pear halves with ricotta, then generously drizzle them with honey and sprinkle with crushed biscuits.
  • Place in the oven for 25 minutes, or until the pear is tender and the biscuit is golden brown. Split the pear halves between plates. Finish by drizzling with the residual honey from the dish before serving.
