Delicious honey-garlic chicken thighs infused with a flavorful sauce of garlic, honey, soy sauce, and rice wine vinegar.
Ingredients:
  • 6 chicken thighs
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 0.33333334326744 cup honey
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
Instructions:
  • Sprinkle chicken with a flavorful blend of garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • 1. Preheat a pan over medium-high heat. Sear chicken until golden, about 10-12 minutes. Check with an instant-read thermometer - it should reach at least 165°F (74°C). Discard excess grease, leaving 2 tablespoons in the pan.
  • Lay chicken thighs skin-side down in the pan and tuck in crushed garlic. Sauté briefly until fragrant, for about 30 seconds. Pour in honey, water, vinegar, and soy sauce. Increase heat to medium-high and simmer until the sauce slightly thickens, for 3 to 4 minutes.
