Tangy honey-lime sauce envelops chicken strips in a quick stovetop meal for two.
Ingredients:
  • 0.33333334326744 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 10 ounces boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
  • In a large resealable plastic bag, mix the flour and cayenne pepper. Add a few chicken strips at a time and shake well to coat them evenly.
  • In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, sizzle the butter until it melts and bubbles. Toss in the chicken pieces, flipping occasionally until beautifully browned all around, which should take about 4 to 6 minutes.
  • Mix lime juice, honey, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Drizzle the mixture over the chicken and cook until the juices run clear and the sauce thickens, about 3 to 5 more minutes.
