indulgent caramel drink customizable for all ages - kids with marshmallows, adults with a touch of liqueur.
Ingredients:
  • 750ml (3 cups) milk
  • 150g soft caramels (such as Pascall Columbines)
  • Pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Marshmallows, to serve (optional)
  • Kahlua liqueur, to taste (optional)
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over gentle heat, combine the milk and caramels. Stir consistently for about 5 minutes until the caramels are nearly melted.
  • Take the mixture off the heat and continue stirring for 1-2 minutes until the caramels have melted completely and everything is well blended.
  • Divide the mixture among mugs and dust with nutmeg. Top with marshmallows or a splash of Kahlua for a grown-up twist.
