Spicy hot chocolate with a modern twist, blending traditional South American flavors with a hint of red bell pepper for sweetness, creating a unique and delicious drink experience.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup Dutch process cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 red bell pepper, seeded and sliced into strips
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons cherry brandy
Instructions:
  • Combine sugar, cocoa powder, and chili powder in a saucepan over low heat. Cook and stir for 5 minutes. Mix in water and bell pepper strips, bring to a simmer, and add milk. Once heated, remove pepper strips with a slotted spoon, stir in cherry brandy if desired, and serve.
