Transform classic hot cross buns into spiced gin for a festive boozy brunch twist!
Ingredients:
  • 2 x 750ml bottles apple cider
  • 42.00 gm lemon juice, plus sliced lemon to serve
  • 6 cinnamon sticks
  • 2.50 gm ground nutmeg
  • 250.00 ml gin
  • 2 pink lady apples, thickly sliced
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan over high heat, combine cider, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Place the apple slices into the pan and allow them to cool for 5 minutes. Mix in the gin, then serve with lemon slices right away.
