- 4 envelopes (1.25 oz each) Irish creme instant cocoa mix
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 1/4 cup Irish creme-flavored syrup, if desired
- Sweetened whipped cream, if desired
- Chocolate shavings, if desired
- Combine hot coffee, cocoa mix, and powdered sugar in a 3-quart saucepan, stirring until well blended. Add half-and-half and syrup, then cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until hot.
- Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings and serve in mugs.
