Make quick and delicious ramen broth using canned ingredients, onion, and pantry staples.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar mushroom stems and pieces, drained
  • 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
  • 6 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
Instructions:
  • In a large pot over medium-high heat, sauté mushrooms and onions in olive oil until onions are transparent, for about 5 minutes. Pour in vegetable broth, soy sauce, and oyster sauce, and let it come to a simmer.
  • Lower the heat setting and simmer covered for 1 to 3 hours to enhance the rich flavors as it cooks longer.
