Spicy Hunan peppered pork with hot green chiles for fiery flavor in every bite.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil, or more as needed, divided
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 ounce fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 pound pork tenderloin, sliced into thin strips, or to taste
  • 3 hot long green chile peppers, sliced into thin strips, or more to taste
  • salt to taste
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a heated wok or large skillet, sizzle 1 tablespoon of oil until smoking. Saute garlic and ginger until fragrant, for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Then, cook and stir pork until fully cooked, for 5 to 7 minutes. Finally, transfer the flavorful pork to a plate.
  • In the same wok over medium-high heat, pour in the 2 tablespoons of remaining oil and saute the chile peppers until well-coated and fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add pork, season generously with salt, and cook until peppers are tender, for 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in soy sauce to achieve the desired color and saltiness.
