Hungarian parmesan rolls with roast beef and onion marmalade

Elevate roast beef roll with sweet onion marmalade.
Ingredients:
  • 4 Continental Hungarian Parmesan Rolls
  • 120g mesclun salad greens
  • 12 slices rare roast beef (see note)
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • 4 large brown onions, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 32.00 gm brown sugar
  • 40.00 ml malt vinegar
Instructions:
  • To make onion marmalade, gently caramelize onions in oil over low heat for 25 minutes until soft and golden. Stir in sugar and vinegar, then cook over low heat for an additional 10 minutes until caramelized. Allow to cool before transferring to a 2-cup sterilized jar.
  • Cut the rolls in half lengthwise and spread them open. Fill each roll with salad greens and roast beef. Drizzle 1 tablespoon of onion marmalade over each roll. Serve and enjoy!
