Cozy goulash skillet with paprika, ketchup, caraway seed, and creamy sour cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 beef boneless sirloin steak, 3/4 inch thick (1 pound)
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppered seasoned salt
  • 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/4 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Chopped fresh chives, if desired
Instructions:
  • Cut the beef into 4 serving pieces and generously season both sides with seasoned salt.
  • Spritz a 12-inch nonstick skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high. Sear beef in the skillet for 4 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until it's nicely browned.
  • Combine tomatoes, paprika, ketchup, and caraway seed in the pot. Lower the heat, cover, and let it simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until the beef is tender. Serve each portion with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of chives.
