Indulge in fluffy homemade crescent rolls made with Original Bisquick® mix.
Ingredients:
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water (105°F to 115°F)
  • 3 to 3 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
Instructions:
  • Mix yeast and warm water in a 1-cup measuring cup; allow it to sit for 5 minutes. In a large bowl, combine 3 cups of Bisquick mix and sugar; slowly incorporate the yeast mixture.
  • Knead dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic for about 10 minutes, using the remaining 1/2 cup of Bisquick mix as necessary. Roll the dough into a 12-inch round and cut into 12 wedges. Roll up each wedge from the wide end to create a crescent shape. Place the rolls on a cookie sheet sprayed with cooking spray, point side down. Loosely cover the rolls with plastic wrap and a cloth towel and allow them to rise in a warm place (80°F to 85°F) for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Remove cover from rolls and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve the rolls warm.
