Easy homemade iced cinnamon raisin biscuits that rival famous fast-food treats.
Ingredients:
  • 2.5 cups baking mix (such as Bisquick®)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.66666668653488 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup raisins
  • 0.66666668653488 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon warm water
  • 0.25 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
  • In a bowl, combine baking mix, white sugar, and cinnamon. Gradually stir in milk until dough just comes together. Gently fold in raisins. Knead the dough about 10 times, then roll it out to 1/2-inch thickness. Use a biscuit cutter or cookie cutter to shape round biscuits, and place them on a baking sheet.
  • Bake until lightly browned, about 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Combine confectioners' sugar, water, and vanilla extract until a smooth glaze forms; generously drizzle over freshly baked biscuits.
