Impossibly Easy Bacon Cheeseburger Pie

Cheeseburger pie with savory ground beef and crispy bacon, ready in just 50 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 1 lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
  • 1/2 cup Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F and coat a 9-inch glass pie plate with cooking spray. In a 10-inch skillet, fry bacon over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes, flipping once, until crispy. Drain on paper towels, then crumble and set aside.
  • In the skillet, sauté the beef, pepper, and onion over medium-high heat for 5 to 7 minutes until the beef is fully cooked. Drain any excess liquid. Mix in ketchup, then spread the mixture in a pie plate. Top with cheese and bacon.
  • Combine all remaining ingredients in a medium bowl using a wire whisk or fork until well blended, then pour the mixture into a pie plate.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Enjoy with extra ketchup, if desired.
