Festive party treat with dried blueberries, cranberries, and white chocolate chips.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 cups butter flavored shortening
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) package white chocolate chips
  • 1 (12 ounce) package dried blueberries
  • 2 (6 ounce) packages dried cranberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C), then mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  • Cream together the shortening, white sugar, and brown sugar using an electric mixer until smooth. Add one egg and beat until fully incorporated, then add the second egg. Gently mix in the flour mixture until just combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips, blueberries, and cranberries until evenly distributed.
  • Shape the dough into walnut-sized balls and arrange them 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Gently press down on each ball to create a 1/2-inch thickness.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until beautifully golden. Allow to cool on the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
