Transform sweet potatoes into a fiery casserole topped with sugary pecans.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup melted butter
  • 0.33333334326744 cup milk
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup all purpose flour
  • 2.5 tablespoons butter at room temperature
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 2-quart baking dish.
  • Combine the sweet potatoes, white sugar, melted butter, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl.
  • Combine brown sugar, flour, butter, and pecans in a separate bowl and mix well.
  • Spread the sweet potato mixture into the greased baking dish, top evenly with the pecan mixture, and bake in the preheated oven until golden brown and bubbling, approximately 25 minutes.
