Sweet and Salty Popcorn Chex Mix

Indiana-inspired popcorn mix celebrating the state's abundant corn harvest.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal
  • 3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
  • 1 teaspoon coarse (kosher or sea) salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 cups kettle popcorn
  • 2 cups caramel popcorn
  • 1 cup crunchy toasted corn kernel nuts
Instructions:
  • Combine cereals in a large microwave-safe bowl, sprinkle with salt. In a separate small microwave-safe bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High for about 20 seconds or until melted. Pour the melted butter over the cereals and toss to coat evenly.
  • Microwave on High for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every minute until golden brown. Spread on waxed paper and cool for 10 minutes.
  • Incorporate all remaining ingredients, and transfer mixture to an airtight container.
