Seasonal twist on classic hot chocolate with gingerbread spices and brown sugar for a special, cozy treat. Great as a gift!
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground clove
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
  • pinch cayenne pepper, optional
Instructions:
  • Combine cocoa, white sugar, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and cayenne in a bowl, whisking until fully blended.
  • Keep in a sealed container until ready to use. Remember to stir well before each use.
  • Warm the milk on medium heat until it's near simmering. Stir in 2 tablespoons of instant gingerbread hot chocolate mix for every 1 cup of milk.
  • Pour the mixture into mugs while it's hot and ready, then savor the delicious drink.
