Instant Pot® Chicken Marsala: Succulent chicken breasts in savory Marsala wine mushroom sauce, made effortlessly with the Saute function.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1.5 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 0.25 cup oil
  • 2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 0.5 cup dry Marsala wine
  • 0.25 cup butter
Instructions:
  • In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, and pepper. Coat chicken breasts with the flour mixture.
  • Preheat multi-functional pressure cooker (like Instant Pot®) using Saute function. Heat oil. Brown chicken for about 3 minutes. Flip chicken, add mushrooms, and continue cooking until both sides are lightly browned, about 3 more minutes. Pour Marsala wine in the pot. Seal the lid, simmer until chicken is cooked through, approximately 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the chicken to a platter. Into the pot, add butter, then stir into the sauce until well blended. Pour the sauce over the chicken breasts and serve promptly.
