Make a speedy Instant Pot® cranberry sauce with sweet port wine for a flavorful twist in minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds fresh cranberries
  • 1.75 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup port
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cinnamon stick
Instructions:
  • In a multi-functional pressure cooker (like Instant Pot®), mix cranberries, sugar, port, and salt. Seal the lid, set to high pressure for 5 minutes following the manufacturer's guidelines. Let the pressure build for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Follow the manufacturer's instructions for natural pressure release for 10 to 40 minutes. Unlock and remove the lid. Stir in a cinnamon stick and choose the Saute function; simmer until the sauce thickens in 5 to 10 minutes. Remove and discard the cinnamon stick.
  • Use an immersion blender to blend the sauce until smooth. Allow the sauce to cool; it will naturally thicken.
