Effortless cranberry sauce recipe with apple or orange juice instead of water for a flavorful twist.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (12 ounce) package fresh cranberries
  • 0.5 cup dried cherries, coarsely chopped
  • 0.33333334326744 cup water
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup orange marmalade (such as Smuckers® Natural)
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
Instructions:
  • In the inner pot of your multi-functional pressure cooker, mix cranberries, cherries, water, cinnamon, and salt. Close and lock the lid. Choose high pressure following manufacturer's directions and set the timer for 2 minutes. Let pressure build for 10-15 minutes.
  • Follow the manufacturer's instructions to release pressure naturally for about 5 minutes. Then, switch to the quick-release method and continue for another 5 minutes. Finally, unlock and remove the lid.
  • Heat your Instant Pot on the Saute function over low heat. Combine the orange marmalade and brown sugar with the cranberry mixture. Stir and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the cranberries break up and everything is well combined. Turn off the Instant Pot and allow the cranberry sauce to cool. It will thicken as it cools. Store the sauce in the refrigerator, and for optimal flavor, remember to bring it to room temperature before serving.
