Make crispy barbecue chicken wings fast with Instant Pot. Just use frozen or thawed wings for a delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 2.5 pounds frozen chicken wings
  • 1 cup barbeque sauce
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat the Instant Pot on manual function. Add water and place trivet inside. Arrange wings on the trivet. Close, lock the lid, and seal the vent. Cook on high pressure for 12 minutes following manufacturer's instructions, allowing 20-25 minutes for pressure to build.
  • Carefully release pressure using the quick-release method following the manufacturer's instructions, then unlock and remove the lid after about 5 minutes.
  • Position the oven rack 6 inches below the heat source and preheat the broiler. Cover a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil.
  • Take the wings out of the pressure cooker and gently dry them with paper towels. Combine barbecue sauce and melted butter in a bowl. Place the wings on the pan and generously coat them with the barbecue sauce mixture.
  • Broil wings until crispy to your liking, turning once, in 5 to 15 minutes.
