Instant Pot Egg Roll in a Bowl: Cabbage, meat, and seasonings cooked together for a deliciously quick and flavorful meal.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup diced sweet onion
  • 0.5 cup grated carrot
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 0.5 pound ground chicken
  • 0.5 cup bulk pork sausage
  • 4.5 cups sliced cabbage
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons tamari
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions:
  • 1. Heat up a multi-functional pressure cooker (e.g. Instant Pot) on Saute mode. Pour in olive oil, then add onion, carrot, and garlic; sauté until onion turns translucent, for about 5 to 7 minutes. Incorporate ground chicken and sausage, and cook until browned, approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Combine cabbage, water, tamari, honey, ginger, pepper, and salt in the pot. Seal the lid, set to high pressure for 10 minutes following the manufacturer's guidelines. Let the pressure build for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Allow pressure to release naturally following the manufacturer's guidelines for 10 to 15 minutes. Mix in sesame oil.
