Instant Pot glazed carrots made with homemade teriyaki sauce for a quick and delicious side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon sweet rice wine
  • 2.5 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.75 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
  • 0.75 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 pound baby carrots
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Combine soy sauce, water, rice wine, white sugar, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch in an Instant Pot. Mix in carrots until evenly coated.
  • Secure the lid tightly, choose high pressure setting on Instant Pot, and adjust timer to 2 minutes. It will take around 10 minutes for pressure to build.
  • Safely release pressure using the quick-release method following the manufacturer's guidelines for about 5 minutes. Unlock and lift the lid. Serve carrots topped with toasted sesame seeds.
