Indulgent chocolate cheesecake infused with Irish cream, a decadent treat for chocolate lovers.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 0.33333334326744 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 0.5 cup sour cream
  • 0.25 cup Irish cream liqueur
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Combine cookie crumbs, confectioners' sugar, and 1/3 cup cocoa in a large bowl. Pour in melted butter and mix until fully incorporated. Press the mixture onto the base of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven; then, let it cool.
  • Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C) for a perfect bake.
  • In a spacious bowl, mix together cream cheese, white sugar, 1/4 cup cocoa, and flour. Beat at medium speed until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, ensuring they are well mixed after each addition. Gently incorporate sour cream and Irish cream liqueur on low speed. Pour the filling over the baked crust.
  • Start by baking in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then lower the oven temperature to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C) and bake for an additional 60 minutes.
  • Using a knife, gently release the cake from the pan's edges. Allow it to cool and then remove the pan's rim. Refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours before serving. To address any cracks, moisten a spatula, smooth the surface, and sprinkle with chocolate wafer crumbs.
