Indulgent Irish cream chocolate truffles, ideal for celebrations. Coat in luxurious toppings like melted chocolate, nuts, or cocoa powder.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1 (16 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon Irish cream liqueur
Instructions:
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, gently heat heavy cream and sugar together, whisking until the cream develops fine bubbles around the edges. Be careful not to let it boil, just until the sugar has dissolved. Then remove from the heat.
  • Combine butter, chocolate chips, and Irish cream with cream mixture, whisking until butter and chocolate chips are completely melted. Allow mixture to cool until it reaches room temperature.
  • Take 1 tablespoon of the chocolate mixture and shape it into a 1-inch ball; place the truffles on a plate.
  • Chill in the refrigerator until set, approximately 1 hour.
