Spicy chocolate chip cookie truffles.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups butter
  • 4 cups milk
  • 12 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2.5 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 3.5 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease your cookie sheets. 2. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and milk together, stirring occasionally. Allow it to cool.
  • Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves in a large bowl. Mix in the milk until dough is firm. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts. Form 1 1/2 inch dough balls and arrange on cookie sheets. Cookies can be placed close together as they don't spread much.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until firm. Transfer to wire racks to cool, then glaze with a thin confectioners' icing to keep them fresh.
