Elevate your meatballs with savory Romano cheese, anchovy, and parsley for a delicious and easy dish perfect for meal-prep or entertaining.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups Italian bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 1.5 tablespoons chopped Italian flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
  • salt to taste
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
  • 0.5 cup milk
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and line a sheet pan with aluminum foil.
  • In a large bowl, mix together bread crumbs, eggs, Romano cheese, garlic, parsley, anchovy paste, and salt until eggs are well beaten. Incorporate ground beef and sausage, then add milk and stir until mixture comes together.
  • Using a scoop, shape 2 tablespoons of the mixture into meatballs and arrange them closely on the pan.
  • Cook the meatballs in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees F (71 degrees C when checked with an instant-read thermometer.
