Try this quick and delicious Italian cheesy steak with veggies cooked in a skillet in 30 minutes for a satisfying dinner!
Ingredients:
  • 2 beef cube steaks (4 oz each)
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons canola oil
  • 1 cup tomato pasta sauce
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced, separated into rings
  • 1/2 small green bell pepper, chopped (1/4 cup)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
  • Season beef steaks generously with lemon-pepper seasoning. Heat oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat and cook steaks for about 10 minutes, turning once, until browned.
  • Spoon half of the savory pasta sauce generously over the seared steaks. Layer slices of onion and vibrant bell pepper on top, then generously spoon the remaining sauce over the colorful vegetables. Sprinkle with a generous amount of cheese and gently reduce the heat to low.
  • Cover and simmer for approximately 10 minutes until the sauce is heated through and the vegetables are tender-crisp.
